If You Need Encouragement

In case you need some encouragement today…

What are you struggling with right now? Is it a weight goal that looks impossible to achieve? Is it a relationship that you think has been damaged beyond repair? Is it your self-concept? Or something else?

The temptation to give up is strong. Your inner voice may be screaming, “What’s the point now anyway? Nothing seems to be changing. You are going to fail AGAIN!”

If you have a weight loss goal you are working towards for example, and you keep ‘falling off the wagon’ so to speak, this might be exactly what you are hearing on the inside!
Just because that voice is loud and strong doesn’t make its message true.

What if the opposite is actually true?🤔

Your brain loves to accumulate evidence for whatever story it’s trying to sell you on. Most of the time, it just seems easier to give up than to question the sentences you hear running through your mind.

But what if that is exactly what you did? Ask yourself some great questions today (and wait for the answer).

👉What is the upside of quitting?
👉What is the point of me setting and working toward this goal?
👉How might things actually be changing in some way even though it doesn’t appear so to the naked eye?
👉What if setbacks mean nothing about me as a person?
👉Is it possible that I are just learning and growing my way to my goal?
👉Why will the actions I am taking today be worth it in the end?

✨Likely, you had very valid reasons for whatever it is you are working to change in your life. Now is NOT the time to give in. It is actually the time to dig in and keep going. When things get hard, remember why you are doing what you’re doing.✨

If you are feeling deflated today, do a little fine-tuning on your brain to help you find your way back to full speed ahead! You got this!👊
